    Default Village Garden Salad Dressing

The people that bring in our salad bar at works brings in pouches of salad dressing. One of which is Village Garden Fat Free Italian. This has become my favorite fat free salad dressing and would like to buy some to keep at home.

    Each pouch is:
    1.5oz (3tablespoons i think)
    25 calories
    0 fat
    7g carb
    0 protein
    360mg sodium

I'd like to find where to buy these but when searching for Village Garden Salad Dressing all I find is:

    http://www.pfgc.com/Customers/Produc...Dressings.aspx

Has anyone come across this? Any idea where to buy? Or am I missing something on that page?

Ask the people who bring in the salad bar if you can buy a case from them, perhaps?

Hi - It looks like they are a food distributor to companies only. Not individual consumption.

"Performance Food Service is one of the nation's leading foodservice distributors, delivering food and food-related products to more than 41,000 restaurants and institutional customers across the United States."

I did a google search on "Village Garden Salad Dressing". Check it out.

    Here's more info ....

You'd probably need to talk to your food service manager to see if they can have the supplier get some extra you could purchase through them -- I see that FF Italian only comes in the pouches -- not in their gallon jugs.

I live on the Walden Farms Italian Dressing in individual pouches. Zero calories, zero carbs. I make it taste the way I like with a little soy sauce or balsamic vinegar or a lemon, pepper, seasoned salt or spices...or just by itself and enjoy the flavor of the salad itself.

I bought some walden farms earlier this week. Wasn't a fan.

I bought some other brand of fat free balsamic vinegar and that was horrible. Nasty. Horribly nasty.

Depends on the Walden Farms flavor, jody. Many I detest. Two I love: Italian and Creamy Bacon.

And, it is so funny what our tastes can handle, huh? Just like the "favorites" on NutriSystem vary all over the ballpark. Some people here swear by the Galeo's dressings...they make me gag.
