    Default Giant styrofoam cooler

Any creative ideas on what to do with these giant styrofoam coolers we get our frozen entrees in? Maybe if I collect enough of them I can make a fort!

I've not received any frozen foods, so I am not familiar with them. I'm assuming they're re-usable? If so, re-use them for day trips (or even days when you'll be running a bunch of errands), weekend trips, etc.

At the very least, you could give them away on Craigslist or Freecycle!

    Wink

I gave some food away to a friend who had to drive aways, in a cooler.
I am keeping my other one in my trunk for these hot days...if I stop for groceries and need to make another stop or two.

At some point I will have more, I am not sure? I am open to further ideas!

momdog44 - if you had more to lose (glad you don't), you might be able to build a bigger fort!

The food pantries like them; and if you have any fishing buddies, they like them, as well. Some people just put them out on their curb, and they disappear like magic!

If you have a "Meals on Wheels" (they deliver food to the elderly) near you they would love to have them.

Use it for a cooler for trips- one for parties filled with ice and beverages (BBQ), When you go to the store shopping bring one and put your frozen in it so it doesn't melt in the HEAT! My hubby used one to fill with rocks and dirt when gardening. Used one for a planter. lol

My husband used mine to plant his vegatables in. We have tomatos in a few and peppers in others. Oh and some strawberries too.
