    Default Raw carrots

    Hi all,
I just start NS in January and its changed a bit since 2009 when I was on it last....here is my question. Can I eat carrots and how much. I know they contain sugar. I like a crunch now and then and they fit the bill.

Carrots are a non-starchy vegetable. All non-starchy vegetables are unlimited on the program. Carrots do have more calories than other vegetables like celery or peppers so you don't want to eat pounds of them during the day. But munching on some raw carrots during the day to satisfy your need for crunch is fine.

Thank you! I can't eat a lot of fruits and veggies because if food allergies. Organic seems to work.

    Welcome to Nutrisystem, ellibeth!

YAY for carrots - they are one of the few veggies I don't mind eating. Watch the calories in carrots, because they can add up very quickly.

Thanks! What would be your suggested serving? I have been taking a handful of the baby carrots.

    4 ounces = 46 calories = 2 veggie servings.
